Our Story

Frost Dental Studio began as one dentist's plan for a calmer kind of family practice.

Dr. Lynette Crosby opened the practice on Harbor View Drive so parents and children could see the same team in the same office. She wanted a practice where patients are heard, not moved from chair to chair.

Today two dentists, a hygienist and a small team care for families across Portland. When a case needs a dentist with more training, we refer you to one and keep looking after the rest of your care.

    We explain what we find, your options and the cost before treatment, and put estimates in writing.

    We tell you what each step feels like and stop when you ask.

    Regular visits let us find small problems while they are small.

Our Philosophy

People decide better when they understand. Each visit begins with what we found, in plain words, and your options. We don't pressure anyone toward treatment they don't want, and you can ask for a second opinion at any time. Parents are welcome to stay beside their children throughout.

    Provides checkups, fillings and preventive care for children, teens and adults, and sees many of our youngest patients. When a case needs more training than hers, she refers you to a dentist who has it.
